The Saint Peregrine Cancer Shrine is located within Christ the King Catholic Church in Mesa, Arizona. Established and dedicated on November 22, 2009, by Bishop Thomas J. Olmsted, the shrine serves as a sanctuary for spiritual healing and emotional peace, particularly for those affected by cancer.

About Saint Peregrine

Saint Peregrine Laziosi (1260–1345) was an Italian priest renowned for his piety and miraculous healing. After experiencing a profound conversion, he dedicated his life to serving the sick and poor. Afflicted with a cancerous sore on his leg, he was miraculously healed, leading to his canonization and designation as the patron saint of those suffering from cancer and other serious illnesses.
